Summary

Christmas 2005: a bad phone line between Russel T Davies' flat and the BBC Wales design department means that 50 extras dressed as sticklebacks have to be hastily re-costumed.

A man dressed as a stickleback points at Billie Piper and Penelope Wilton, chanting "Sticklebacks strong! Sticklebacks mighty! Sticklebacks freshwater!"

Notes

  • This is the first edition of the Doctor Whoah! comic strips, which would remain a regular feature of Doctor Who Magazine until DWM 475, with a few gaps in between.
  • Unlike its predecessor series, the Doctor failed to make an appearance in this premiere instalment.
