Summary

A narration explains that the 1960s Dr. Who films attempted to simplify the concept for a movie audience by humanising the Doctor, but that the early draft was perhaps too ambitious.

In a scene from that draft, Dr. Who introduces himself to Tom Campbell, along with his granddaughter Susanand his niece Louise, before going on to introduce an overly long line of other family, friends and acquaintances. The director interrupts the scene to inform them that they have already gone over budget.
