The Museum of Liverpool was a museum located on Liverpool's waterfront. It was part of National Museums Liverpool.
Alan and Diane worked there. Dan Lewis sometimes took tours in an unofficial capacity, against Alan's wishes.
By 2021, the top floor of the museum contained exhibits on "Furniture and Fabric". Sections of the museum also had information about writers, musicians, and footballers who were part of the history of Liverpool. (TV: The Halloween Apocalypse) A "Global City" exhibit also was present in the museum, as well as a theatre. A larger exhibit on Joseph Williamson and the Williamson Tunnels was also in the museum, entitled "Discover Historical Liverpudlians: Joseph Williamson". (TV: The Vanquishers)
As part of an initiative to "Discover Liverpool", the museum offered free entry. (TV: The Vanquishers)
Doesn't matter where you go in the world. It could be the greatest museums in the biggest cities - none of them have got what we've got right here. Nobody has got a top floor like the Museum of Liverpool, 'cause nobody has got our history. Over there, we've got the writers. Over there, the musicians. And over there, the footballers. These are massive. They're the pinnacle of this building and this city. These define us. These make Liverpool.
