The Give-a-Show Projector was a device used by Iris Wildthyme to orchestrate a bootstrap paradox, so she, Panda, and a young verger could circumvent a potentially dangerous timeline. (PROSE: Iris Wildthyme and the Unholy Ghost)

The Give-a-Show projector in Iris Wildthyme and the Unholy Ghost is clearly intended to be similar, if not the same as the Give-a-Show Projectors from real life, a series of children's toys that released some of the first Doctor Who comic stories.
