The Lichyrwick creature was a large, vulture-like creature which Malcolm thought resembled a colossal dinosaur. It had a grey, wrinkled head, a sharp six-foot beak, and "disturbingly human" eyes.

The injured creature ended up in Lichyrwick by accident, and its arrival brought many temporal disurbances to the town. Residents would hide after dark, closing their curtains to avoid ever seeing the creature. When Malcolm and the Ninth Doctor helped it safely leave the Earth the temporal disturbances were corrected, and Lichyrwick returned to normal. (AUDIO: The Lichyrwick Abomination)
