As the Last Great Time War continued to open fronts in what the War Doctor dubbed the "past, present, and future", turning all into "an arena of War", a battle erupted in a city, with the Dalek Empire deploying bronze Dalek drones and Spider Daleks into the engagement. The city was laid to ruins as Dalek battle cries echoed across the landscape. Exchanging fire with their enemies, Spider Daleks marched over the ruins and shattered casings alike. Amid the fighting, one drone's casing was destroyed and left shattered upon the ground. However, the Dalek mutant itself survived and, using the damaged casing, warned that it had witnessed someone it called "him" arise "beyond the storm" to bring death.
