Creation of the Daleks was the eighth short story of the Dalek Wars series, printed in issue 15 of Doctor Who: Battles in Time magazine. Like all installments of the Dalek Wars series, it is not considered a valid source by this Wiki due to being commercial in nature.

Plot

In Dr. M. Christopholos' The history of the Thals, a Dalek army attacks the Thal Dome. Following a thousand year war which had seen the Kaled form genetically accelerated by their top scientist Davros, the new genetic mutation (housed in an armoured shell of a Mark III Travel Machine) were the first Dalek conquerors. Davros betrayed his own people to ensure the survival of the Daleks, his creation!

Story notes

  • The story depicts the attack on the Thal Dome from TV: Genesis of the Daleks, although the Daleks shown are using Time War casings. This can be excused due to the framing device as the story being an in-universe document.
