Our Family was a piece of fiction published exclusively on the BBC's Cybus website, released in 2006. Our Family, from an in-universe perspective, attempted to recruit new employees for Cybus Industries.
Because this Wiki does not treat non-narrative fiction as a valid source, About Cybus is an invalid source and cannot be used on valid Wiki pages except in behind the scenes sections.
Summary
In an article on the Cybus Industries website, reasons why you should join Cybus Industries, and its vast network of companies, are specified.
Ben Crawford is quoted, mentioning their "equal opportunity policy" and that you can get in contact with an EarPod.
The Cybus Industries Staff Intranet is linked, and beneath, the types of workers for Cybus are split into two categories:
- Trainee Scheme: where you start off on the factory floor before you become the perfect worker
- Seniors Programme: where mature members of society are employed for their brainpower
The article concludes, telling their future employees that they don't see you as people, but assets; by increasing the "strength" of each employee, Cybus becomes stronger and will be the future.
