Cleric Bob is one of the clerics-soldiers in Father Octavian's squad. He and his team had the mission to hunt the last of the Weeping Angels.
Bob was very scared following the disappearance of his colleagues, Cleric Christian and Cleric Angelo. The Doctor convinced him that his fear was a defence against the Angels.
A Weeping Angel killed the cleric while exploring the Maze of the Dead after luring him towards it using the voices of Clerics Christian and Angelo.
The Weeping Angel then used the voice of Bob to communicate with the Doctor, after which the Doctor referred to this as Angel Bob. The Weeping Angel "Bob" was later killed after being sucked into the crack in time and space that threatened to consume the Doctor, River Song and Amy, along with the rest of the Angels.
