Leadworth was an English village and home to Amelia Pond for most of her life after she moved to there from Scotland. Leadworth had no airport and no nuclear power station (not even a little one). Behind the Scenes
- Leadworth scenes are actually filmed at Llandaff in Cardiff, about 1/2 mile away from the main BBC Wales building.
- The name is an anagram of "Late Dr. Who" (or "Dr. Who Tale"), though it's unknown if this was intentional.
