Charles Cromwell (1915-2006) was an operative for Torchwood Three between 1945 and 1975, although he was still a respected team member when Ianto Jones worked at Torchwood 1. His main objective during his Torchwood career was the capture of Michael Bellini as he travelled through time but to no avail. He was partnered with Kenneth Valentine, who by 1967 had defected to the Soviet Union. In 2006, the Vondrax killed him along with a few other operatives at Torchwood One when they were trying to catch Michael. (PROSE: Trace Memory)
