The Director was offered Berlin by the Cybermen. She was in charge of the Conformity Institute. She taught at the institute. She talked with the Unbound Doctor about conformity. She thought that the Cybermen were there to stop World War II from happening as they were taking the people who would be the rank and file of the German Army. (AUDIO: Willkommen)
Her mind was broken after the Cyber-Planner was destroyed, and spent her time to fix it. Bernice Summerfield found her in this situation. She was left behind when the hypnotic signal rang over Berlin, and wanted to know why she was selected to be a cyberman. (AUDIO: Auf Wiedersehen)
