About the Authors was the first short story included in the ebook edition of Summer Falls and Other Stories released on 22 October 2013 and published by the BBC. In-keeping with the theme of the anthology, that is was supposed to exist in-universe, the about the authors section covered Amelia Williams, Melody Malone, and a fictional version of Justin Richards.
This story also featured the first mention of Amelia and Rory Williams' adopted son Anthony since the web release of P.S., although Anthony wasn't mentioned anywhere else in the Summer Falls and Other Stories anthology.

Amelia Williams is the editor of the Melody Malone novels and author of children's books who lives in New York City with her husband and son.
Melody Malone
Melody Malone is the owner of the Angel Detective Agency in Manhattan. She might be married is possibly older than her parents.
