The Lupari used spaceships, known to the Sontarans as shield ships or shield craft, to travel across the universe.

Armament and Specifications

Lupari ships, while small, are quite fast and agile, especially in combat. (TV: The Vanquishers) Their armaments consists of some unknown type of Lupari energy weapons that also proved very effective in disabling the Sontaran comms systems on Stenck's Sontaran flagship, so that the rest of Stenck's forces do not attempt to escape from the Flux event, which ultimately succeeds in destroying the remaining Sontaran ships. (TV: The Vanquishers)

History

After Bel's home planet was ravaged by the Flux, she stole a Lupari ship and started to search for her life partner, Inston-Vee Vinder. (TV: Once, Upon Time)

While shielding Earth from the Flux, Juverost's ship started to drift away from formation. To maintain Earth's protection, Karvanista remotely hyperjacked the rogue ship, which Bel referred to as a hyperjacking. (TV: Survivors of the Flux)

The Lupari and their fleet of ships continued to protect humanity from the Flux and its consequences, that is until the Sontarans attacked Earth again, this time attacking the Lupari ships, and ejecting all the Lupari into space, appropriating the shield for themselves and leaving Karvanista as the last surviving member of the Lupari. Karvanista later avenged his own people, together with the help of Bel and Vinder using two hijacked Lupari ships had managed to successfully take out the comms systems of Stenck's Flagship in order to ensure the Sontaran fleet didn't escape and thus allowing all of the Sontaran ships to be consumed by the Flux. The surviving Lupari ships had managed to successfully protect Earth. However, even with the allies safe, some of the Flux begins to make it past the shield, so the two Doctors, inspired by an idea from Diane, use the infinite matter within the Passenger form to absorb the Flux remnants and save the universe. Karvanista, Vinder and Bel became a team and bid farewell to the Doctor, Yaz and Dan before departing on the few surviving Lupari ships for parts unknown. (TV: Survivors of the Flux/TV: The Vanquishers)
