Cherry was a shade of red named after a certain fruit.

The Doctor wore a white shirt with cherry question marks on the collar during his fifth (TV: Castrovalva-The Caves of Androzani) and sixth incarnations. (TV: The Twin Dilemma-Time and the Rani). He also wore a beige jumper with cherry question marks and turquoise zigzags during his seventh incarnation. (TV: Time and the Rani-Survival)

Clara Oswald wore a cherry mini-dress with white symbols when she helped the Doctor's war, tenth, and eleventh incarnations to defy Zygons; as well as to save Gallifrey from the Dalek Empire in the final fight of the Last Great Time War. (TV: The Day of the Doctor)
