After the Slitheen craft crashed into the River Thames on 6 March 2006, Mickey, (TV: Aliens of London [+]Loading...["Aliens of London (TV story)"]) going by "Mx", wanted Rose Tyler to tell everyone the truth about the Doctor, given his own efforts to uncover information about the Doctor weren't truly successful despite his best efforts. (PROSE: Alien landing confirmed [+]Loading...["Alien landing confirmed (short story)"])

When Mickey shared the passwords to the UNIT website to the readers of his website a couple of days later, he told them to "nose around" to find "hair-raising" truths about how the Slitheen weren't the first aliens mankind has met which UNIT had dealt with. (PROSE: Hoax This! [+]Loading...["Hoax This! (short story)"])

During the Sycorax invasion of Earth on 25 December 2006, (TV: The Christmas Invasion [+]Loading...["The Christmas Invasion (TV story)"]) Sgt A Frederick believed that UNIT should only tell the press "as much of the truth as they can handle." (PROSE: Project Rooftop [+]Loading...["Project Rooftop (short story)"])

In 2007, David R, a conspiracy theorist, had a picture of John F. Kennedy on his Cheapserve profile, with the words "the truth" on it. (PROSE: Who Am I? [+]Loading...["Who Am I? (feature)"])

In around mid-2010, George Thompson believed that he knew the truth about his elderly neighbour Mrs Rossiter — that she was really a witch. (PROSE: My Special Book [+]Loading...["My Special Book (short story)"]) She was not a witch. (TV: Night Terrors [+]Loading...["Night Terrors (TV story)"])

In the "Shadow World", the Veritas contained a truth so powerful those who knew it committed suicide; (TV: Extremis [+]Loading...["Extremis (TV story)"]) this truth was that everyone and everything was a simulation. The Veritas only existed in this simulation, however, one source posited that it may potentially exist in the real universe too.
