Levenshulme Little Free Library was a small free library in Levenshulme run by Paul Magrs, Bernard Socks and Panda.

History

After visiting a free library run by Helen in Burnage during lockdown, Paul Magrs decided to help in the creation of a series of free libraries across South Manchester by creating a little free library. After its creation, people would stop by and talk while looking at books. (PROSE: Why We Started Our Little Free Library... [+]Loading...{"page":"1","1":"Why We Started Our Little Free Library... (short story)"})

Ideology

Paul Magrs believed that books needed to be shared and pass through various people's hands. He believed that people needed to be with books and spend time with books, and that rummaging was "restorative and restful". (PROSE: Why We Started Our Little Free Library...
