The Daffodil Man Autons were a variant of Autons, distinguished by carnival masks, (WC: Return of the Autons [+]Loading...["Return of the Autons (webcast)"]) which were utilised during the second Nestene invasion of Earth. They were used by the Master to distribute killer plastic daffodils and were, as with standard Autons, fitted with wrist-guns. (TV: Terror of the Autons [+]Loading...["Terror of the Autons (TV story)"])
History
Their involvement in the Second Nestene invasion of Earth should be added.
In the 21st century, a group of around twenty Daffodil Man Autons once attacked the street in which Clifford and Jo Jones' lived. Clifford tried to contact UNIT, but failed, and Jo defeated the Autons by jacking their signals with electro hip-hop music created by the twins. Legacy
When the Twelfth Doctor and Clara Oswald were lured to the Toyroom by the Toymaker after it began to deteriorate, the Doctor was able to summon an army of toys to fight against the Toymaker; one of these toys included an Auton.
