Whilst browsing the shelves of the Plume Coteries' Library, Maritsa noticed a copy of the book Horrors of Arcbeatle Press. She noticed one story featuring herself — which she didn't consider particularly odd — called The Cactus and the Corpse, but thought it quite dull and moved onto the next story, The Thing in the Woods.
