A dormitory, sometimes referred to as a dorm, (PROSE: The Reproductive Cycle) was a room or building in which humans could sleep. They were often communal, with many indivuduals sleeping in a single dorm. Dorms could be found in orphanages and boarding schools in 19th and 20th century England, (PROSE: The Shape on the Chair, TV: Human Nature) as well as in colleges. (PROSE: The Reproductive Cycle)
