Davina McCall (born 16 October 1967[1]) provided the voice of the Davinadroid in the Doctor Who television episode Bad Wolf [+]Loading...["Bad Wolf (TV story)"] and a fictionalised version of herself in The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"].

She is best known for hosting Big Brother. In March 2009 she co-hosted the BBC's Red Nose Day appeal for Comic Relief alongside David Tennant. She suffered the ignominy of being beaten by Tennant in a mock game of Mastermind in which he demonstrated knowledge of Doctor Who superior to her knowledge of Big Brother.

Other than the Davinadroid being implied to be based upon the actual television presenter in-universe, given that Rose Tyler is familiar with Anne Robinson upon seeing the Anne Droid, McCall was referenced in the short story The Doctor's Guide to 2012 [+]Loading...["The Doctor's Guide to 2012 (short story)"], where the Eleventh Doctor claimed that a meteor which passed through Earth's atmosphere resembled McCall.
