Instructions for {{DWTV}}
{{DWTV}} is a template that gives a macro-level overview of Doctor Who televised release history on BBC One.

Written from a real world point of view, it tells the reader which episodes were released in which years. For convenience, episodes are further grouped by lead actor (not Doctor). Hence, John Hurt is never mentioned here, because -- despite being the Doctor -- he was never the lead actor of Doctor Who. Parodic Doctors are also not considered by this template.

If the template fails to list every minor episode or webcast, that's fine. The point is just to list, by year -- and then by lead actor -- what most people would consider the main episodes of Doctor Who. If readers want more detail about various series, they can click on the series/season links.
