I agree with this completely. I never add childhood photos unless I can verify they are a different actor, but the childhood photo of Clyde Langer definitely isn't Daniel Anthony. There is a flashback scene near the end of The Mark of the Beserker where they are seen running in a playground, and plenty production photos where the same child actor is seen. Also, checking DWMSE 23 credits them as Jon William Carter. BlueSupergiant ☎ 15:16, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

: While I'm empathetic to the concerns, surely the ruling over at DWA meta-fiction#Privacy concerns applies? I.e., the fifteen year cutoff? 16:56, 26 October 2024 (UTC)

Spoilers are strongly policed here.
If this thread's title doesn't specify it's spoilery, don't bring any up.

Opening

When putting together a gallery of different character actors for infoboxes, I think we need to be cautious of depictions in photographs and "home video" footage, for lack of a better word. It's not uncommon for legitimate childhood photos/footage of the main actors to be used for these things; they don't count as "different actors".

I previously made this point for Ruby Sunday's page when someone implemented her childhood photos from TLoRS, but I've also noticed Clyde Langer's page has the same issue. WaltK 15:01, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
