The Steward managed Platform One, Three, Six and Fifthteen in the year 5 Billion, when the richest aliens were invited to witness Earth's final destruction. When the Doctor and Rose Tyler came to Platform One, he confronted them due to them not being invited to the End of the Earth display, but he was tricked by the Doctor's psychic paper, and he allowed them in. He introduced the guests into Platform One, and made announcements around the Platform via intercom.
