Biography
Early life
Divson Follett (PROSE: Dragons' Wrath [+]Loading...["Dragons' Wrath (novel)"]) was mentored in archaeology by Herve Pottle (PROSE: Tears of the Oracle [+]Loading...["Tears of the Oracle (novel)"]) and earnt a doctorate. (PROSE: Oh No It Isn't! [+]Loading...["Oh No It Isn't! (novel)"]) He remained in contact with Pottle afterwards and considered him to be a friend.
The final time Follett met Pottle before the latter's death was when Pottle was preparing to write Living Archaeology, his autobiography of Edward Watkinson, whom Follett thought was a fascinating man and whom he hoped to one day name a chair after him in an Archaeology department.
