These problems might be so great that the article's factual accuracy has been compromised. Talk about it here or check the revision history or Manual of Style for more information.

The Stone Dalek was one of the progenitor Daleks.

History

The stone Dalek was one of the Progenitor Daleks present at the Alliance's sealing of the Doctor in the Pandorica in 102 A.D.. As the cracks in time continued to run rampant across the Universe, Dalek history was erased, leaving the stone Dalek as an 'after image'. The Pandorica contained atoms from the original universe, from before the cracks started to erase events, and had the ability to sustain life. Light from within the Pandorica reactivated the Dalek but the stone did not fall off. Its power was not fully restored so it could not shoot, but eventually its power was restored enough to shoot its weapon. It was one of the first Daleks to shoot the Doctor who was merley severly injured as it lacked the power to kill and after time-traveling back 12 minutes, he was able to use the Pandorica's powers to heal himself. It was also the first Dalek to plead for "Mercy!" Soon after that it was shot by River Song. When the Doctor reset the universe and timeline it may have been erased from existance or simply returned to where it would have been before the Alliance acted to trap The Doctor. (DW: The Big Bang)

Behind the Scenes

  • It is unknown what Progenitor Dalek it is, it could be a Drone, Eternal, or Supreme. The voice of this Dalek isn't as deep as the Supreme's, so it may be one of the former.
