Davitch Pavale was a programmers on the Game Station, alongside his female counterpart. They answered to the Controller, but when the Ninth Doctor exposed the Game Station as a fraud and the Controller was transmatted aboard the Dalek Flagship and exterminated, the two Programmers joined forces against their foe. They joined Captain Jack Harkness, who took a shine to Davitch, and he was still flirting with the Female Programmer when she was exterminated defending Floor 499.
