Years of interest

In the 30th century, the Earth Empire continues to exist, but falls late in the century. (DW: The Mutants) By this time Overcities, large tower blocks the size of cities had large anti-grav engines which allowed them to hover over the undercities. (NA: Original Sin) In the late 30th century the Black Hole of Tartarus presents a hazard to spacecraft. (DW: Terror of the Vervoids).

The standard of craftsmanship in the century may have been very high, as The Doctor estimated that the later interior of the Nerva Beacon had originaly been built in the late 29th or early 30th century. (DW: The Ark in Space). On another trip to Nerva, the Doctor surmises that this is the same station they left, but thousands of years before the solar flares that devastated Earth. (DW: Revenge of the Cybermen).
