ITV (Independent Television) was a broadcasting company in the 20th century onwards, it was the BBC's rival company and attracted large viewing figures.
It's longest running soap opera was Coronation Street.
History
- Kathy Nightingale and Sally Sparrow discussed their own series of adventures known as "Sparrow and Nightingale", and suggested it air on ITV. (DW: Blink)
- After the Doctor disconnected his Sonic screwdriver from his companions remote, he (perhaps jokingly) warned them not to switch to ITV that night or the galaxy would implode. (DW: Attack of the Graske)
