- 1934 - Ann Davies (Jenny in DW: The Dalek Invasion of Earth) was born in London.
- 1946 - Brian Hibbard (Keillor in DW: Delta and the Bannermen, was born in Wales.
- 1967 - Episode 3 of DW: The Ice Warriors was first broadcast.
- 1978 - Part 1 of DW: The Androids of Tara was first broadcast.
- 1983 - DW: The Five Doctors was first broadcast in the UK. A satellite feed of a slightly truncated version was broadcast in the US and Canada on 23 November.
- 2005 - Online feed of the DW: Children in Need Special story, David Tennant's first full story as the Tenth Doctor, ceases at 9:30 GMT.
