Aside from wildlife, the planet was also home to dangerous giant carnivore plants. Which trapped the Daleks in their jaws, crushing their [[Dalekanium]] casing to devour the [[Kaled mutant]]s inside. Although the Daleks inital force was totally defeated, suffering far more casualties then expected, the possibility of a second, stronger invasion, threatened the extraordinary planet. Plutonia was a planet home to several giant insect species.

Famed for its mineral rich rocks and soil, Plutonia 7 was the site of many invasion attempts, however, it's the aggressive of the planets native life consisting of giant insects, such as wasps and praying mantis, put off many possible invaders.
