A Christmas Carol is the 2010 Doctor Who special. The first footage from this special was screened on 19th November in the form of a trailer as part of the BBC's Children in Need.
Synopsis
Amy and Rory are trapped on a crashing space liner, and the only way the Doctor can rescue them is to save the soul of a lonely old miser. But is Kazran Sardick, the richest man in Sardicktown, beyond redemption? And what is lurking in the fogs of Christmas Eve?

- A Christmas Carol is loosley based on the Charles Dickens novel of the same name, with Kazran Sardick being Ebenezer Scrooge, the Doctor being the Ghost Of Christmas Past and Amy being the Ghost of Christmas Present
