"Good King Wenceslas" was a popular Christmas carol about a king who goes out to give alms to a poor peasant on the Feast of Stephen (the second day of Christmas, December 26).

Whilst treading carefully through the minefields of Skaro, Sarah-Jane Smith mentioned Good King Wenceslas to The Doctor and Harry Sullivan.
Mr Copper described Humans as worshipping Good King Wenceslas, which was an innaccurate description.
