So, the Silence tell Amy to "tell the Doctor what he must know and what he must never know." What is it referring to? Apparently that she's pregnant, but why would she want to tell him so bad? Why was it so extremely important? And what must he never know? That he's going to die? Why would they want the Doctor to know that he's going to die? Is there any possibility that the Silence are being told what to do (by He-who-has-killed-Time-Lords?) and they're actually trying to help the Doctor? Hence why they're keeping Mrs. Time Lady Girl safe and why they don't react at ALL when the Doctor shows up to free Amy until he reveals that he's killing off their entire race. I suspect that they were escaping to the moon (and they did successfully) because they knew they would be wiped out (Hence "Silence will Fall," 'fall' meaning be defeated. I mean, come on, since when does 'fall' mean take over?) and they're trying to warn the Doctor, or something. Thoughts welcome... Kayjeth 03:51, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

"Silence will fall" doesn't necessarily mean that the Silence will fall. It could mean that literal silence will fall, as in all will become silent, when the Silence take over. The Silence seem to be malevolent, as they told Canton that they had taken over the Earth and that humans should kill them all on sight, they killed Joy, and they kidnapped Amy. There may be other races or villains involved, such as the Time Lord killer, but the Silence are clearly not good guys.Icecreamdif 04:02, May 2, 2011 (UTC)

Also, it's possible that when the silence told amy that she has to "tell the Doctor what he must know and what he must never know" that he was talking about one thing, amy's pregnancy, not two. Otherwise, Amy would have already told the doctor that hes going to die because the silence "suggested" it. Therefore, the question becomes why must the doctor know/not know about her pregnancy? psychdoc

Maybe he both must and must not know about the pregnancy for the same reason that the pregnancy is positive/negative according to the screen in the TARDIS that the Doctor points at Amy. The entire pregnancy is clearly very strange, and probably one of if not the main story arc of this season. And so far it looks like it both does and does not exist. You know, just a touch of the Schrödinger's pregnancy...
