A vizier is a high-ranking advisor to a monarchy in Eastern cultures. The Doctor has encountered several viziers, both on and off Earth.

- The Sudanese Vizier (BFA: The Key 2 Time - The Destroyer of Delights)
- The Sclaponian Grand Vizier (PDA: Island of Death)
- The glass Vizier of Fortalice (EDA: The Scarlet Empress)
Bernice Summerfield also encountered an individual who called himself the Vizier, whilst on Perfecton. (BNA: Oh No It Isn't!)
