Kentucky was an American state which still had the death penalty in the early 21st century. In Jacksonville, at the Montrose Hills State Penitentiary, Oswald Danes was once executed by lethal injection, meaning that Danes' act of paedophilia and murder took place within that state. The governor of Kentucky was reluctantly forced to parole Danes out of fear of violating the Constitution of the United States when Danes was resurrected on "Miracle Day". (TW: The New World)
