Summary
The Doctor is summoned to China by Chan Chiu where he finds that China is under attack by the legendary stone monkey who seems to be coming back to life. The Doctor teams up with Chan Chiu's grandson, Li, to stop the stone monkey before the whole population of China is wiped out.

Notes
- The DWAM comic strip adventures were very much aimed at a younger audience and the artwork and colours were bold and bright, reflecting the tone of the magazine.
- Self contained, one part stories were the norm in the early issues, later being expanded to two-parters.
