Information regarding Miracle Day's production. The sources are dated late 2009-early 2010. Also information regarding SJA's halted production and cancellation.
These omissions are so great that the article's factual accuracy has been compromised. Check out the discussion page and revision history for further clues about what needs to be updated in this article.
Upper Boat Studios is a TV studio complex located in Upper Boat, Treforest Industrial Estate, Pontypridd, north west of Cardiff. It is the largest studio complex in Wales.
Since 2006, Upper Boat has been home base for the Doctor Who franchise, as the BBC leased the studios in order to centralise production of Doctor Who, Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures.
The future of Doctor Who-related production at Upper Boat would appear to be temporary, as in December 2009 the Welsh government announced plans to develop a BBC Drama Village in Cardiff which would house BBC drama production in the region, including Doctor Who and its spin-offs. No timeframe for construction of the new studio has been announced, so for the present production of the three series remains in Upper Boat.[1][2]
