The Ninth Doctor reads an issue of Heat magazine.

Heat Magazine was a major gossip magazine published on Earth, particularly in the United Kingdom in the early part of the 21st century. Jackie and Rose Tyler owned issues of the magazine. In 2005, the Ninth incarnation of the Doctor took a quick read through one of the issues while searching for an Auton arm in her flat. His eye was caught by an article about the relationship or marriage of a celebrity couple. The Doctor noted that it wouldn't last, since "he's gay and she's an alien." (DW: Rose)

Luke Smith apparently picked up some of his knowledge from this magazine, including how Johnny Depp has coulrophobia. (SJA: The Day of the Clown)
