Lower Downham was a small village in England.

History

In 1962, a single particle from a dangerous chemical weapon fell to Earth, landing in Lower Downham. The Viyrans followed it there, attempting to neutralise it. They realised, however, that the only option was to evacuate the population of the village to another place and to wipe their memories, making them forget the village ever existed. A perceptual barrier was placed around the village, making other people forget about the village and never attempt to access it, so as to protect them from the particle. (DWS: No One Died)
