Transcendental Beings were powerful beings who lived outside the spatial universe. Transcendental beings were made out of the very matter of time, with a polymorphic lattice of photinos and chronons bound together by super-strings. They had incredible powers, though they had difficulties interacting with normal life. Though they could reach the spatial universe, they normally lived in the Calabi-Yau Space and the Time Vortex. (PDA: The Quantum Archangel)

Types of Transcendental Beings

The Guardians of Time

The Guardians of Time were the most important beings in the Calabi-Yau Space. The existence of the Guardians was known to only a few advanced species. Among those were the Time Lords and the Eternals, who called them Enlighteners. Though they each personified different concepts, they were all part of the Six-Fold God. (DW: Enlightenment, PDA: The Quantum Archangel)

The Old Ones

This section needs a cleanup.

Probable mis-sourcing, mentioning the appearance of the being, rather than what story CALLED them transcendental beings or Old Ones. For instance, I know nowhere in the Nestenes or Animus' TV appearances are they called "Old Ones".

The Old Ones were cruel and dangerous beings who attempted to conquer reality. They played a more active role in the normal universe than other Transcendental Beings.

Their name reflects their supposed one-to-one relationship to certain of the "Old Ones" of H.P.Lovecraft's Mythos.
