• 30 - Ace prevents the assassination of John Lennon on the roof of the Apple Records building. Huitzilin had hoped to feed upon the psychic energy released by the violence (NA: The Left-Handed Hummingbird).

• 18 The Doctor, Sam Jones and Fitz Kriener confront the 'Revolution Man' at Wembley Stadium. - (EDA: Revolution Man)

July

• 20 - The American spacecraft Apollo 11 lands on the surface of the moon and Neil Armstrong becomes the first (officially recognized) human to set foot on another world (although unknown to Armstrong and the world at large numerous companions of the Doctor had beaten him to the punch). The event is considered a milestone in human history and a stepping stone to later manned exploration of other planets. Martha Jones later claimed that she and the Tenth Doctor viewed the event several times. (DW: Blink).

• 9 - 10 - Followers of Charles Manson murder actress Sharon Tate and others in what becomes known as the Helter Skelter killings. The Doctor theorized Huitzilin influenced the killings after his plot to have John Lennon killed in London failed. (NA: The Left-Handed Hummingbird)

• 15 - 17 - The Woodstock Music Festival is held in Bethel, New York. The Doctor attends the festival on two different occasions, in two different incarnations. (NA: The Left-Handed Hummingbird)

• After serving many years in prison for war crimes, Oskar Steinmann is released due to health problems. (NA: Just War)

• The Doctor and Martha Jones are touched by the Weeping Angels and end up in this year. (DW: Blink)
