The Helter Skelter killings were a series of murders committed between 9 and 10 August 1969 by Charles Manson and his followers. These included the murder of actor Sharon Tate among others. The Seventh Doctor theorised Huitzilin influenced the killings after his plot to have John Lennon killed in London had failed. (PROSE: The Left-Handed Hummingbird)
