Thomas Erasmus Flanagan was evacuated to Cardiff at the age of eight, during the London Blitz in 1941. His mother and sister died during the war, so he never returned to London. Due to a paper error he wasn't picked up with the other children and was accidently left overnight on his own in the train station. He was eventually picked up when the error was discovered. His fear and helplessness were so strong the quantum transducer could still read it even after the war was long over. In 2007, he was questioned by Gwen Cooper, who had been using the transducer. (TW: Ghost Machine)
