Asia was an Earth continent. It is home to animals including elephants, rhinoceroses, wild boars, pandas, monkeyss, and tigers.
Following the plague sent by the Daleks during their 22nd century invasion of Earth a majority of the population of Asia died before a cure was found. (DW: The Dalek Invasion of Earth)
