In 1970s London, a tiger was kept in a cramped cage in a zoo which was visited by the Third Doctor and the Brigadier's godson Albert. The Doctor instructed Albert how to use the circuit to free himself, then later donated his UNIT expenses to pay for a larger enclosure for the tiger. The delivery company erroneously assumed that a group of chickens belonging to university chaplain D. Thorne were acceptable receivers of the tiger, which subsequently ate the birds. Andromeda.gal.ax blamed the incident on the chickens, saying it was their responsibility to put up a sign saying they did not want tigers teleported into their domicile, and replaced them with robotic models equipped with laser eyes and guns which killed Thorne.
