Hello to everyone.

I'm an admin, so any problems or questions that are vexing chuck them on My talk page, if I can't help I'll try and point you in a direction which can.

I've been fan for a long while, and this wiki lets me indulge in a slightly obsessive passion.

I can get a bit obsessive and methodical and usually start with one page in a line (of novels/audios/TV stories) and then focus on one portion of it (like the external links or the images), go through a long line and fix just that, and then go and fix the rest. (Which is why the Virgin New Adventures, BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures, Virgin Bernice Summerfield New Adventures and the Big Finish - Bernice Summerfield Series have a hand or two of mine in their (individual page) creation/major work.

I've also been working to make sure that any novels, audios and TV shows all conform to the Manual of Style.

Favourite Additions

• One of my favourite recent additions is The Doctor Who Cookbook which is actually sitting on my shelf, one of the oddest pieces of Doctor Who publishing...with some quite good recipes.
• The Alcohol, Tea, and Coffee pages which I'm also quite happy with (and all the useless knowledge they bring).
• Also I'm quite pleased with The Dark Dimension, mainly because it's all accurately researched with proper citing of sources and all that jazz.

Other recent work

I'm also working on the DWMs, when ever I feel like it, a lot of typing and copying from the magazines, so it's an off and on thing, in which I pick a year and try to get through that year in a week or less.

I've also been working my way through the TV stories making sure they all conform to the manual of style, doing some edits here and there, updating the infoboxes to the 'ClassicTV' infobox (which incorporates the Season, which also alleviates the confusion from the standard TV infobox), organising the external links so they're all arranged in a similar method, and other various small jobs.

Finally finished the Jon Pertwee era, after a long while or working on it and being distracted by the DWMs and other stuff, not even halfway though (sigh)...

• I just created an article I'm Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek (building upon my odd articles) this and Who is Dr Who? are music related.

However, I just listened to I'm Gonna Spend My Christmas With A Dalek about 3 or 4 times to write the lyrics for the article (it seemed no one had written them down on the net). It truly is a 60s pop song, Dalekmania at work there.

What I'm currently mucking around with

I've spent some time creating and updating our copyright tags, I've placed them all in a list (which has explanations of them as well) at Tardis:Copyright tags.

Yes! Have finally got the uncategorised images down below 500! Now just all the DWMs to do and to decide whether the Classic Comics deserve their own copyright tag, or just a category of the DWM ones.

I've also rewritten adding more relevant and up to date content to the Tardis:To Do List, which actually has existed since this wiki's foundation, but hadn't had any real additions since 2005.

Other to do things, needing adding to various lists at a later date

• UNIT Era, what links to it, change over to 1970s or 1980s, or UNIT dating controversy.

Specific articles and pages

• Doctor Who Magazine comic strips, the specific pages on this page, several of them have the 'Published In' field in the infobox listing the publication as Doctor Who Monthly, only issues 44 through to 84 are known commonly as 'Doctor Who Monthly', (issues 1 to 43 are known as Doctor Who Weekly). Each of the comic strips on this page must be checked to be sure it conforms with the magazine it was in. There are additional comic strip stories listed in Category:Doctor Who Magazine comics stories also requiring checking.

Other Info

• I don't care that much about rumours, supposition or any wanderings on the net and elsewhere.
• Articles need to be written from actual sources, Rumours don't count as "sources".

• Supposition or 'stuff that will probably happen based on these sheep entrails' (or alternatively stuff that hasn't been released for general media consumption) doesn't count either.

• I'm no great fan of copying huge chunks from wikipedia, the point (as I see it) is to be creating something unique here, not just a copy of any given Wikipedia entry.
• I'm usually around a lot of the time, I'm also an admin.
