The Egg Hunt is a Doctor Who Adventures comic strip published in 2013.
Summary
The TARDIS lands somewhere on Earth, where there is an Easter egg hunt, but finds out there is no one there. The Doctor goes off to investigate and finds some cracked eggs, but doesn't think they are chocolate. After using the sonic screwdriver on it, he finds out that the eggs are alien! All of a sudden, The Doctor gets attacked by monster birds, that come in all sorts of different colours. These are the birds that came from the eggs. Suddenly, a woman appears and chases the birds away with a hockey stick. The woman leads The Doctor to a tool shed, where they finally introduce each other. The woman is called Pippa, and explains that there was a meteor shower of Easter eggs, and when they hatched, the went for the chocolate Easter eggs. After that, they went for the people. The Doctor comes to realization that they are Astro-raptors that invade worlds and eat everything in sight. The Doctor asks for some chocolate eggs, to use as bait. After that, the birds went for them after following the trail of eggs. The due proceed to run away from the birds, into the TARDIS. The Astro-Raptors fly around in the TARDIS, whilst The Doctor flies the TARDIS into an abandoned land, with floating islands and clouds. The rocks are edible for the astro-birds. The Doctor and Pippa enter the TARDIS again, to drop her off back to Earth, hopefully with some eggs to eat.
