Giant Wasps were giant wasp-like creatures from an unknown planet that were controlled by the Quarks who used them in their attempt to create an empire. The Quarks used the Wasps to try and kill the Doctor on Gano and then they faced him again on Earth in 1999. The Wasps at some point turned against the Quarks. (TVC: The Killer Wasps/ MA: Millennial Rites)
- It is possible the Vespiforms, which fought against Quark Rebels, and the Giant Wasps might be related or might be one and the same.
