Talk:Vespiform
Merge[[edit source]]
In the Monster Files episode for The Unicorn and the Wasp, Jack Harkness states that the Vespiforms are the same giant wasps that the Quarks fought. A panel from a TV Comic issue featuring these "giant wasps" is used to illustrate the Vespiform-Quark conflict. I think that's enough information to gather that they are the same species. - I completely agree, the Venisform page already reflects the comic. OS25 (talk to me, baby.) 23:23, January 28, 2012 (UTC)

How has this been wrong for so long? The comic is only 4 pages long but NOBODY checked before adding this to the page? OK, the Giant Wasps that serve the Quarks CANNOT be Vespiform, as they are explicitly depicted by the comic in which they appear as regular sized wasps artificially grown by the Quarks, and they all perish by the end of the story. The only way you could say they are Vespiform by arguing that if the Quarks created new ones maybe those ones bred and actually became the first Vespiform, but, not only is that wild speculation (which is not permitted on this wiki), it doesn't explain how the Vespiform got their shape-shifting abilities, telepathic abilities, etc. The reference to the Quarks in the Monster File was merely an in-joke referencing some obscure 60s comics and shouldn't be taken too seriously. Even in-universe, Jack says he doesn't even BELIEVE the rumour! I have removed all references to the Quarks from the in-universe portion of this page expect with direct reference to the Monster Files episode itself. How has this been wrong for so long?
